The articulated Austalian Possum hex is another staple fly. Not only does it imitate hex nymphs that are common in the Midwest, but it also imitates a salmon fry and darter minnows too. This makes it a very versitile fly! It can be fished as a nymph or swung slowly. This fly is tied by Aqua Flies to Kevin Feenstra's specs. In combination with the BTS, it is a go to fly in the spring, winter, and fall.
